12 Part Series - Living a Life of Resolution.

Part 4 - Resolved for Your Family

What will your legacy be? In other words, when you leave this life, what will people remember you for? Will you leave behind a legacy that will fade with time, or will your legacy be passed down from generation to generation? If the legacy you leave behind is one of faith and trust in God and Jesus Christ, your legacy will be cherished and secured. You see, many people leave to their families their valued possessions, and these things last for a generation or two. But when a legacy of unshakable Christian faith is left behind, it carries with it the power of being passed down to many generations. 1 Chronicles 16:14 and 15 tells us, “He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth. Remember his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations.” The Bible makes it clear that our faith in God and His word is our most important possession. Since this is the case, it only makes sense that we make our faith our legacy. A legacy such as this will give our future generations an eternal blessing that will carry them into the heavenly arms of our Savior in heaven. So be resolved for your family and begin to live a life of unshakable faith.
