Part 3 - Resolved for a Godly Life
The old saying goes, “When the cat is away, the mice will play.” Many people believe that their is a God. Yet they live as if He does not exist, or He does not know what is going on in their lives. Nevertheless, the God who is, sees all and knows all. Nothing happens outside of His knowledge. In other words, we all live “Coram Deo” or, in the presence of God. Hebrews 4:13 says, “No creature is hidden from God’s sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Since this is the reality of our existence, we must be resolved to live a godly life. The Scrip
ture teach us what this life looks like and how we can develop it over time. But the reality is that it takes resolution and hard work. So let me ask you this—do you want a happier marriage or relationship? Do you want a meaningful existence without complications? Are you seeking forgiveness or a softer heart? If so, the answers are in the Bible. Read it carefully, and read it daily. Five minutes in the Bible every day will cure a lifetime of issues. So be resolved for a godly life, and I guarantee you that in time, you’ll thank God you did.
